Week 9 today was the last day of school and it was my last day of primary im moving on to intermediate
Week 8today we packed our class brought all our things home and now our class room is all clean
Week 7
this week we had a task to make a maori game. the people in my group were mikayla, Hamish, matthew, arunika and keisha. we deicided to do a game kind of like twister.

next we put our left foot onto the banana if we can find it

Week 6 this week some of the girls have been using the app called aruasma. aursma is an app that you use for learning. when you point the camera at a picture or object you can record a video and explain anything you want.
Week 5
today we did athletics. on the first break the girls did high jump, long jump and softball throw. after the Secord break the girls did sprints relays 200 metre finals and more fun activity's . my house Rutherford came 1st
Week 4
this week we learnt about Guy Fawkes
who: Guy fawkes is a guy born on April 13th 1570 in new York. he died at the age 35
when: November 1605 the infamous gunpowder plan took over
What: Guy Fawkes is celebrated by setting off fireworks on the 4th to the 8th of November
Why: He attempted to kill the king because he wanted a catholic monarch to rule
Where: They found Fawkes in a cellar about to light the gunpowder

Week 3 today we practised gaelic football with a coach from the gaelic football association we practised hurling, passing, kicking, and more
Week 2 this week we went to the museum we learnt many things but one of the main things was learnt about were volcanos here a some of my classmates dressed up as a volcanologists. if your wondering what a volcanologists it is a person that study's volcanoes.

Auckland Philarmonia Orchestra first they preformed the pirates and the carribian theme song and then the prefromed a song written by tchaikovsky

this week we practised doing some art. we practised doing a daisy in the moonlight we hade to use a tiny thread from a big paintbrush. you had to be very careful and patients take a look^^^^^^

this week we have been doing some maths we have been solving number patterns

This is Keisha and I putting soil mix into our pallet other people from our class a weeding our garden. this week we also leart about photosythis as you can see in the picture we have put a certain kind of weed in some tubes. the weed is called oxygen weed. we also put water in it. my group decided we should put it under light and see what happened 15 minutes later we cheeked to see how it was going it had heaps of tiny bubbles in it and the leaves looked a bit darker. you will usually see oxygen weed in fish tanks

this week we had a book parade we can dress up as any character in a book Keisha and I decided we should make our own book and dress up as ourselves. some people dressed up as princess characters from star wars fairy tail characters and more.

This week we did cross country. It was really nerve-racking watching others run. fortunately I can 1st place Victoria came 2nd and Eva came 3rd.
I'm looking forward for cross country zones. this week we also did our speeches I got 43 out of 50 my speech was about why kids should be in charge go listen.

we planted sweet sugar snap peas, celery, cucumber, lettuce, onion and bok choy I cant wait for it to grow.

I really enjoyed this week we did exiting things like, painting, practising for tough gurl and guy and learning about money. But my favourite one was going to marina view school and practising a new routine for jump jam my. we also got to meet the Brett fairweather was the maker of jump jam.

Today we went to botanical gardens in Auckland. It was a fun trip we learnt about all sorts of things like green roofs green walls green thumb we even made green roofs bird houses out of wood. im definitely coming there next year.

This week we did our pallets my group Keisha, Mikayla, Arunika and I decided to paint ours the school colours orange green and blue we also decided to do chevron.
This week we decided to learn about graphs. I did a survey about sports. After I went on Excel and made a bar graph and pie graph take a look ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
5 bullying
I believe bullying should stop NOW. there is really no point in doing it. firstly, you wont get anything from it. secondly, it makes people feel bad about thereselfs. Finally if you don't have anything nice or good to say then don't say it at all.
This week finally got to do some art it was inspired by James RIZZIE it is very quirky and colourful.

this week mr vartha made us run around the field. I did not just 4 not just 5 but 6 laps around the field. thanks mr vartha im going to be fit for cross country.

THE CARNIVAL IS COMING......................... cant wait
this week we learnt about if we didn't have water what will happen to us, here are a few reasons 1. your skin will change colour into purple, grey 2. you won't be able to blink because the water in you eyes have dryed 3. your nose, mouth and ears will go smaller 4.it will be harder to swallow 5. and much much more

CAMP CAMP CAMP this week the year 6s did CAMP one of the things I learnt in camp was to persist and to work together to get things done quickly and finish things fast. My favourite this at camp was the super fox and confidence coarse here is a video which has what camp looked like
this week we have been doing a lot of paper Mache we have done a Easter island statue head it was made with chicken wire, sand, paper, glue and paint.
1. we shaped the chicken wire into the shape of a Easter island statue
2. after we made some glue and we got some paper and paper machaed the outside with one layer
3. then we got some white paint and painted it
4.soon after that we painted it grey
5. last but not least we got same sand and put it on the wet paint
6. finally we let it dry

in week 8 our school counted our school carnival money we raised over 100,000 dollars WOW THATS ALOT

this week we did our class auction with our class money heaps of people got chips, cookies, and more I got chocolate yum see you next term.

2. after we emailed it to our teachers computer
3. then he put it on the projector
4. carefully we put a paper on the white bored and our teacher started sketching it for us
5. afterwards we painted the backround as you can see on the picture
6. last but not least we got a charcoal pencil and we started shading it with our fingers
